On January 1, 2007, the campuses of Saint Mary’s Health Care in Grand Rapids, Michigan became entirely tobacco-free! As a health care system dedicated to optimal mind, body and spirit wellness for its patients, visitors and employees, the Tobacco-Free Work Day…Every Day campaign eliminated the use of all tobacco products within its campus boundaries.

Saint Mary’s employees represent some of our most valuable resources. As health care professionals, they work in ways both big and small to protect health. To support the Tobacco-Free Work Day…Every Day policy and ensure that our employees remain healthy Saint Mary’s Health Care provides numerous support opportunities, on-site, to help employees remain tobacco-free during their work shift.
