Operations Career Path
Human Resource Assistant
Supports the Human Resource Department operations by serving
applicants, employees, management, and other internal or external
customers with all Human Resource related matters consistent
with Saint Mary’s values and by providing assistance
with Human Resource standard processes and office work flow.
- High School education or equivalent. Bachelor’s
degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field strongly
preferred.
- Two years human resources / customer service / office
management experience required with strong customer service
focus.
- Able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Able to function with frequent interruptions
- Displays caring attitude and effective interpersonal
skills
- Demonstrates pleasant telephone etiquette
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Basic computer skills (including word processing and
spreadsheet applications; preferably Word Perfect, Quattro
Pro, Access and e-mail).
